Description

Although not really one of my better ones, this version certainly beats a similar collage I found on the same play (I'll only say Kerchak is not a great choice).  As you may have noticed, this play contains the character for whom Iago, Jafar's loud-mouth lackey, is named.  Iago is one of the coldest, cruelest villains in Shakespearean lore; his conniving tricks to bring Othello down based on an old rivalry is what keeps the plot in motion until its tragic conclusion.  This is possibly the only Shakespeare play with a non-European lead; initially a Moor, Othello is openly identified as being darker than the other Italian characters.  This is also the second time I've used Naveen in the Shakespeare series; although I do try to avoid such duplication, he's really the only fit for this role.  You've also probably noticed the character of Iago's wife is also a bird.

Othello - Naveen
Jasmine - Desdemona
Iago - Iago
Lady Cluck - Emilia, Iago's wife
Pips - Roderigo
Garrett - Cassio
Red Bimbette - Bianca, Cassio's girlfriend
