Disney's ''Antony and Cleopatra''

Here's a simple work on Shakespeare's most exaggerated romance.  Historically, Marc Antony and Cleopatra did have an affair as well as a few children, but it probably wasn't as special of a relationship as Shakespeare made it; at least, not to Cleopatra.  Cleopatra also had a child with Julius Caesar, and also married then murdered her younger brother to secure her place on the throne.  She did eventually commit suicide, but only because Julius Caesar's nephew Octavian, later Augustus Caesar, overthrew her empire.  So, while it is historically accurate, may Antony felt a little more strongly about their relationship than Cleopatra did.
